Texas health system creates new IT C-suite role

Abilene, Texas-based Hendrick Health has created a new C-suite position: assistant chief medical information officer.

Josh Reed, DO, has been named to the role, according to a March 20 news release. He will serve as a bridge between medical staff, administration and IT.

Dr. Reed has been with Hendrick Health since 2014.
