Tenet taps Carolyn Jackson as Massachusetts market, hospital CEO: 3 things to know

Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare has appointed Carolyn Jackson CEO of its Massachusetts market and CEO of Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Mass., according to a Worcester Business Journal report.

Three things to know:

1. Ms. Jackson most recently served as the COO of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

2. She began her healthcare career with Tenet, serving as CEO of St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia before Tenet sold the hospital.

3. She is the permanent successor to Jeffrey Welch, who left in 2018 for a role overseeing Tenet hospitals in the Miami area.
