Kevin Manemann was appointed COO of Sutter Health, effective Sept. 15, according to a health system news release shared with Becker’s.
In his new role, Mr. Manemann will co-lead Sutter’s clinical and nonclinical operations as a dyad partner to Chief Physician Executive Todd Smith, MD, the release said.
Mr. Manemann will specifically oversee Sutter’s division operating structure, system service lines, ambulatory surgery centers, nursing and Sutter Care at Home.

Mr. Manemann will join Sutter from Duarte, Calif.-based City of Hope, where he most recently served as executive vice president and integration officer.
Based in Northern California with executive offices in Sacramento and Emeryville, Sutter’s 57,000 staff and clinicians and 12,000 affiliated physicians provide care to more than 3.5 million Californians.
