Susan Turney, MD. CEO of Marshfield (Wis.) Clinic Health System. Dr. Turney became Marshfield Clinic Health System’s first CEO in September 2014, overseeing the newly formed health system’s 50 healthcare centers, health plan and two hospitals. A clinician by training, Dr. Turney completed her internal medicine residency and served in clinical practice for 22 years at Marshfield Clinic. The health system encompasses physicians in 86 specialties and subspecialties serving more than 2 million Wisconsin residents. Prior to taking on her current role, Dr. Turney served as president and CEO of Medical Group Management Association as well as executive vice president of the Wisconsin Medical System.
