1. Most recently, Mr. Lance served as CEO of Coliseum Medical Centers in Macon, Ga., a part of Charleston, S.C.-based HCA South Atlantic.
2. He began his career in rehabilitation services, and has previously served in COO and CEO roles at hospitals in New Mexico, South Carolina, Texas and Tennessee.
3. He will assume his new role on Jan. 1, 2017.
4. He holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
5. Coliseum Medical Centers named Stephen Daugherty, currently CEO of Macon-based Coliseum Northside Hospital, as interim CEO, according to a report by The Telegraph.
