St. Elizabeth Physicians names permanent CEO: 5 things to know

Robert Prichard, MD, has been named president and CEO of Cincinnati-based St. Elizabeth Physicians, effective immediately.

Here are five things to know about Dr. Prichard.

1. He has been serving in the interim role since July 2015.

2. In addition to president and CEO, Dr. Prichard will also serve as executive vice president and chief clinical integration officer.

3. In his roles, Dr. Prichard will oversee the day-to-day strategic direction, operations, physician relations and alignment and financial activities of the physician group, officials said. At the same time, he will help Gary Blank, COO of Edgewood, Ky.-based St. Elizabeth Healthcare, lead hospital clinical operations and activities.  

4. Previously, he served in the roles of CMO and chief clinical integration officer at St. Elizabeth Healthcare.

5. Dr. Prichard earned his medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington.
