Sparrow Clinton Hospital President Ed Bruun retires

Ed Bruun, president of Sparrow Clinton Hospital in St. Johns, Mich., retired last week, according to Fox 47 WSYM, a Fox-affiliated TV station.

Mr. Bruun joined the hospital nearly 25 years ago and has served as its leader for the last 15 years.

During his tenure, the hospital established a new emergency services department and achieved Pathway to Excellence certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Beth Ann Daugherty, the hospital’s vice president of patient care services and chief nursing offer, will become acting hospital administrative officer.
