Danny Mullis, vice chairman of the hospital board, said the resignation was a “corporate decision” and that the board was not involved, according to the report. Tenet spokeswoman Carol Britton said Ms. Sinacore-Jaberg “left to pursue other opportunities.”

Phil Shaw, an independent contractor from a management consulting firm, will serve as interim CEO for up to four months, by which point Tenet plans to find a replacement.

Ms. Sinacore-Jaberg’s resignation comes a year after the hospital relocated to a new, $153 million campus.
