Mr. Cochran assumed the role Aug. 19, prior to which he was COO and CFO of the hospital. He has worked at Shady Grove Medical Center since April 2011, before which he was vice president of finance at Reading (Pa.) Hospital.
He is a fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Mr. Cochran succeeds John Sackett, who is stepping down from the hospital leadership role to focus on his role as COO of Gaithersburg, Md.-based Adventist HealthCare.
