Mr. Gaden, who assumed the role Aug. 26, previously served as CEO of Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center in Portsmouth, Va., and Bon Secours DePaul Medical Center in Norfolk, Va. He is former CEO of Providence (Ore.) Portland Medical Center and the Oregon Eastern region for Renton, Wash.-based Providence Health & Services.
He succeeds Thomas Thames, MD, who retired.
