Scott Whittemore named interim CEO of Center University of Mississippi Medical Center-Grenada

Jackson-based University of Mississippi Medical Center has selected Scott Whittemore to serve as interim CEO of Center University of Mississippi Medical Center-Grenada, according to a Grenada Star report.

Mr. Whittemore is currently CFO of UMMC-Grenada and University of Mississippi Medical Center Holmes County in Lexington. He will continue to serve in the finance role, along with performing his interim CEO duties.

Mr. Whittemore succeeds Wes Sigler, who was named CEO of the Grenada and Holmes County hospitals in May 2018. Mr. Sigler has left the role, but hospital officials did not comment on the reason for his departure.
