Mr. Locke replaces Kem Mullins, who left his post as CEO to take a position as a vice president of Marietta, Ga.-based WellStar Health System — Mr. Mullins will also be president of WellStar Cobb Hospital in Austell, Ga.
Before accepting the interim CEO position at Saint Francis, Mr. Locke was COO of Spalding Regional Medical Center in Griffin, Ga.
A search is under way to find a permanent replacement for the CEO position at Saint Francis.
