Roy Hawkins to serve as Jackson North Medical Center’s new CEO

Miami, Fla.-based Jackson Health System appointed Roy L. Hawkins Jr., senior vice president and CEO of Jackson North Medical Center in North Miami Beach, Fla., according to a South Florida Business Journal report.

Mr. Hawkins previously served as COO of Johnston-Willis Hospital in Richmond, Va. His previous roles include serving as interim CEO and COO of James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital in Tampa, Fla.

Mr. Hawkins holds a master of health administration degree from Florida International University in Miami.
