River Hospital names new executive director of development: 3 things to know

River Hospital in Alexandria Bay, N.Y., has hired Stephanie Weiss as executive director of development.

Here are three things to know about Ms. Weiss.

1. She joins River Hospital after leaving Save the River, a nonprofit, member-supported environmental organization based in Clayton, N.Y.

2. In her new role, she will work with existing development staff to build a strong and sustainable development program, and be actively involved in launching the hospital’s Hope + Healing Capital Campaign, according to a news release.

3. In a prepared statement, Ben Moore III, River Hospital CEO, said, “We are very fortunate that Stephanie is undertaking these responsibilities for us. As both a former board member of River Hospital and as an executive with Save the River, Stephanie has exceptional knowledge of, and commitment to, our communities and our residents.”
