Providence Health & Services taps new Oregon region CEO: 4 things to know

Renton, Wash.-based Providence Health & Services appointed Lisa Vance CEO of its Oregon region, based in Portland, according to The Lund Report.

Here are four things to know:

1. Ms. Vance will assume her new role Aug 19.

2. She joined Providence 27 years ago, most recently serving as senior vice president of clinical program services for Renton-based Providence St. Joseph Health.

3. She has previously served as CEO of Providence Portland Medical Center.

4. Ms. Vance succeeds Dave Underriner, who is leaving to serve as president of Oahu-based Kaiser Foundation Health Plan and Hospitals of Hawaii.
