President of 2 BJC HealthCare Illinois hospitals to retire

Mark Turner, president of Memorial Hospital Belleville (Ill.) and Memorial Hospital East in Shiloh, Ill., is going to retire next April, according to the Belleville News-Democrat.

Mr. Turner has served as president of the hospitals since 2004. During his tenure, he oversaw the opening of Memorial Hospital East and the orthopedic and neuroscience center on the Belleville campus. He also led the hospitals through an acquisition by St. Louis-based BJC HealthCare in 2018.

Mr. Turner has more than 30 years of healthcare experience.
