7 recent hospital, health system CEO moves

Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system CEO moves in the last week.

The executives are listed below, alphabetically.

1. San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital in Banning, Calif., has dropped the "interim" in CEO Steve Barron's title.

2. Logan Memorial Hospital in Russellville, Ky., has tapped David Brash to serve as CEO, effective Dec. 2.

3. Billings (Mont.) Clinic has selected Scott Ellner, DO, to serve as CEO, effective in January.

4. Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho, appointed Mark Gregson interim CEO, effective Nov. 11.

5. David Pate, MD, president and CEO of Boise, Idaho-based St. Luke's Health System, plans to retire at the end of January, after a decade in the role.

6. Vancouver, Wash.-based PeaceHealth has selected Charles Prosper to serve as chief executive of the PeaceHealth Northwest network.

7. Baltimore-based University of Maryland Medical System named Mohan Suntha, MD, president and CEO, effective Dec. 1.
