Mr. Gressle is currently chief administrative officer of HCA’s East Florida division, which includes 14 hospitals.
He has worked at HCA for 14 years and held several leadership roles within the organization, including CEO of Medical City Plano (Texas) and COO of Medical City Dallas and Medical City Children’s Hospital in Dallas. He began his healthcare career in caregiver roles, including as a certified nursing assistant and paramedic.
He succeeds Michael Joseph, who is retiring after 31 years with HCA, including 12 as president of the East Florida division.
