PointRight names new CIO, CFO: 8 things to know

PointRight, a provider of predictive analytics solutions to post-acute healthcare stakeholders, has added two key strategic leaders to the company’s executive team.

Here are eight things to know.

Michael Laureno was appointed CFO.

1. Mr. Laureno has worked in senior management roles providing financial and strategic guidance to a number of organizations, including early-stage enterprises and established corporations.

2. At the beginning of his 20-year career, he worked in venture capital and investment banking. 

3. Prior to joining PointRight, Mr. Laureno was a strategic CFO, working on a part-time or interim basis at early-stage, high-growth and mid-market companies in America and in Europe and Israel. 

4. He earned a master’s degree in finance from Boston College.

Cesar Goulart was appointed CIO.

5. Mr. Goulart has more than 20 years of experience in health IT.

6. During his career, he developed and deployed integrated payer and provider IT strategies, implemented managed care applications and EMRs, and created analytics strategy combining health plan and clinical data, according to the release. 

7. Mr. Goulart previously was CIO of Presbyterian Health Plan for six years, then became vice president of IT strategic planning and development for Albuquerque, N.M.-based Presbyterian Healthcare Services.

8. He earned a degree in computer science.
