Mr. Belter succeeds James Sances, who retired after 31 years with ABHS.
Previously, Mr. Belter served as regional vice president and CFO of Provena Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, Ill., and Provena St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin, Ill., both of which are part of Chicago-based Presence Health.
