Ohio's Premier Health Partners CEO Retires

Tom Breitenbach, CEO of Premier Health Partners in Dayton, Ohio, has announced he will retire at the end of 2010, according to a Dayton Daily News report.

Mr. Breitenbach has headed the system since 1995 and currently oversees more than 14,000 employees. Mr. Breitenbach said he would like to assist in the implementation of healthcare overhaul, perhaps as a consultant or through government agencies, after he leaves Premier, according to the report.

Mr. Breitenbach led the Premier through its year-long separation from the Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield network in 2005.
