Northern Light Health shuffles leadership

Brewer, Maine-based Northern Light Health is making multiple leadership changes, the health system announced March 3.

Northern Light Health, which merged with Mayo Regional Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine, on March 1, said John Dalton, president of Northern Light Inland Hospital in Waterville, Maine, and vice president of Northern Light Health, is retiring, effective March 6.

Mr. Dalton has led the 48-bed community hospital and 105-bed continuing care center in Waterville for 14 years. Northern Light Health said he will still be active in the Waterville community.

In addition to Mr. Dalton’s retirement, some Northern Light Health leaders will take on new leadership roles. 

Terri Vieira, president of Northern Light Sebasticook Valley Hospital in Pittsfield, Maine, and Northern Light CA Dean Hospital in Greenville, Maine, will become president of Inland. Marie Vienneau, RN, BSN, president of Northern Light Mayo Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine, will become president of CA Dean.
