North Hills Hospital CEO to retire: 7 things to know

Randy Moresi, CEO of North Hills Hospital in North Richland Hills, Texas, intends to retire.

Here are seven things to know about Mr. Moresi and his retirement plans.

1. North Hills Hospital did not provide a date for Mr. Moresi's retirement.

2. Mr. Moresi is retiring after serving 25 years as CEO of the hospital.

3. During his tenure at North Hills Hospital, Mr. Moresi oversaw the development of the Texas Pediatric Surgery Center on the North Hills Hospital campus, as well as the Calloway Creek Surgery Center and the Dr. David Pillow Senior Clinic.

4. Honors achieved under Mr. Moresi's tenure include:

  • North Hills Hospital was twice named the first hospital in the nation to receive various levels of Chest Pain Center accreditation by the Society of Chest Pain Centers.
  • North Hills Hospital achieved Joint Commission certification in spine, joint replacement (shoulder, hip and knee), acute myocardial infarction and primary stroke.

5. Prior to North Hills, Mr. Moresi was vice president of operations at South Arlington (Texas) Medical Center.

6. Previously, he was human resources director at De Tar Hospital in Victoria, Texas.

7. A search for Mr. Moresi's replacement will soon be underway.
