Trisha Montague will lead new Arkansas campus: 6 things to know

Little Rock-based Arkansas Children's Hospital has named Trisha Montague, MSN, RN, senior vice president of regional services.

Here are six things to know about Ms. Montague.

1. She starts her job Nov. 30.

2. In her role, she will oversee key leadership positions and the on-site construction of the recently announced new hospital campus in Springdale, Ark., officials said.

3. She will also:

  • Lead ACH's comprehensive strategic plan for pediatric healthcare services in northwest Arkansas.
  • Be responsible for providing leadership and direction to regional activities.
  • Help implement the plan for regional growth.
  • Partner with the ACH Foundation to help grow philanthropic support for the hospital's growth strategy.

4. Ms. Montague is currently CNO of Children's Hospital of San Antonio, where one of her major responsibilities has been serving as executive lead on a $150 million renovation project for inpatient units and services, officials said.

5. Previously, she was at ACH from 1997 to 2001. She was an assistant administrator in inpatient nursing, and later vice president of patient care services.

6. Ms. Montague earned her Master of Science in Nursing Administration from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, and undergraduate degree in nursing from Loretto Heights College, also in Denver. She is Nurse Executive Advanced-Board Certified.
