WellSpan Health, a 12-hospital system based in York, Pa., said Sept. 8 it has promoted David Gasperack, DO, to system senior vice president and chief medical officer for WellSpan Medical Group.
Dr. Gasperack has served WellSpan for more than two decades in several roles, including family physician, regional CMO and, most recently, senior vice president of primary care and population health.
“In those roles, he has helped advance physician engagement, population health strategies, value-based care initiatives and clinical quality efforts across the system,” WellSpan said. Dr. Gasperack assumed the new role Sept. 6.
