New Hampshire hospital CEO to retire

Don Caruso, MD, president and CEO of Keene, N.H.-based Cheshire Medical Center, will retire in May, The Keene Sentinel reported Jan. 3.

Dr. Caruso has served the hospital for three decades and has led it since 2015. During his tenure as CEO, he continued seeing some patients. 

Under Dr. Caruso’s leadership, the hospital — a member of Lebanon, N.H.-based Dartmouth Health — has grown from 75 providers to 242 and has launched a family medicine residency program.
