New Hampshire-based St. Joseph Hospital CEO to step down

Richard Boehler, president and CEO of St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, N.H., is resigning, effective Sept. 1, according to a Union Leader report.

Mr. Boehler led the hospital since 2013. A hospital release noted he is leaving his post to “pursue other professional opportunities,” according to the report.

During his tenure, the hospital saw significant growth and implemented an organizational restructuring.

Mr. Boehler previously served as CMO for provider solutions at Medeanalytics, a health IT firm. An internal medicine physician by training, he holds an MBA from Saratoga Springs, N.Y.-based SUNY Empire State College.

Tewksbury, Mass.-based Covenant Health, the hospital’s parent,  hired a recruitment firm to find an interim leader for the hospital, according to the report.
