Amanda Logue, MD, has been appointed CEO of Ochsner Lafayette (La.) General Medical Center, effective Sept. 6.
Dr. Logue has served as regional medical director for Ochsner Lafayette General since 2019, according to a Sept. 3 news release from New Orleans-based Ochsner Health.
In her new role, she will oversee Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center, Ochsner Lafayette General Orthopedic Hospital, Ochsner Lafayette General Surgical Hospital and the regional pharmacy and regional facilities teams.
Before assuming her current position, Dr. Logue served as chief medical information officer for Lafayette General Health, now Ochsner Lafayette General. She remains a hospitalist and has practiced medicine for 17 years.
Patrick Gandy Jr. will continue to lead Ochsner Lafayette General as regional CEO.
