New CEO for California’s Saint Agnes Medical Center

Saint Agnes Medical Center in Fresno, Calif., has named James N. Leonard president and CEO, according to The Fresno Bee.

Mr. Leonard comes to the 436-bed hospital from 390-bed not-for-profit Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, Wash.

He replaces Thomas Anderson, who had served as interim CEO since mid-2008. Mr. Anderson did not apply for the permanent position, according to the report.
