Bryan Medical Center in Lincoln, Neb., has appointed Michael Johnston as its next president and COO, effective Dec. 29.
Mr. Johnston will succeed John Woodrich, who is set to retire in January, according to a Dec. 2 hospital news release shared with Becker’s. Mr. Woodrich has been serving as interim CEO of Bryan Medical Center.
Mr. Johnston most recently served as president and CEO at the Mercy/Unity Campus within Minneapolis-based Allina Health. Prior to that, he held the same title at two hospitals at Grand Blanc, Mich.-based McLaren Health Care.
Bryan Medical Center includes 664 beds across Bryan East Campus and Bryan West Campus, both acute care facilities.
