Munroe Regional Medical Center in Ocala, Fla., appointed James F. O’Loughlin CEO, effective Oct. 9, according to an Ocala Star Banner report.

1. Mr. O’Loughlin most recently served as president and CEO of Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Fla.

2. He also served as CEO at healthcare organizations in South Carolina, Alabama and Oklahoma.

3. He holds an MBA from Nova University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

4. He succeeds Bob Moore, who left to take on the CEO role at Venice (Fla.) Regional Bayfront Health.
