Mohawk Valley Health System taps new CEO: 3 things to know

Utica, N.Y.-based Mohawk Valley Health System named Darlene Stromstad president and CEO, according to a Utica Observer-Dispatch report.

Here are three things to know:

1. Ms. Stromstad most recently served as interim CEO of Fenway Health, a federally qualified health center in Boston.

2. She also has experience serving as president/CEO of Waterbury (Conn.) Hospital and the Greater Waterbury Health Network.

3. She will succeed Scott H. Perra, who is planning to retire Jan. 1.
