8 latest hospital, health system executive retirements

Becker's Hospital Review reported on the following hospital and health system executive retirements in the last four weeks.

They are listed below, in alphabetical order.

1. Cambridge-based Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center President and CEO Ray Chorey retired.

2. William H. Considine, CEO of Akron (Ohio) Children's Hospital, announced his retirement.

3. Natrona Heights, Pa.-based Allegheny Valley Hospital President and CEO Bill Englert is retiring in early 2019.

4. Sister Carol Keehan, president and CEO of the Catholic Health Association of the United States, is retiring effective June 30, 2019.

5. Pinehurst, N.C.-based FirstHealth of the Carolinas CEO David Kilarski is planning to retire at the end of July 2019.

6. Kerrville, Texas-based Peterson Health President and CEO Pat Murray is retiring at the end of April 2019.

7. Seattle-based UW Medicine CMO Carlos Pellegrini, MD, plans to retire, effective Dec. 31.

8. Dan Robinson, president of UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital in Longmont, Colo., will retire in 2019, ending a 36-year healthcare career.
