Minden Medical Center CEO Gregory Pearson resigns

Gregory Pearson, CEO of Minden (La.) Medical Center, has resigned for a new job opportunity, according to a Minden Press-Herald report.

He left for a regional position with Shreveport, La.-based Allegiance Health Management, a healthcare facility operator.

Mr. Pearson has served as CEO of the hospital since December 2016. He was previously CEO of Merit Health River Region in Vicksburg, Miss. He holds an MBA from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, La.

Jim Williams, assistant CEO at Minden Medical Center, took over as interim CEO on Sept. 3.
