Irvine, Calif.-based St. Joseph Hoag Health has named Michael Beck chief administrative officer of Mission Hospital Laguna Beach (Calif.).
Here are four things to know about Mr. Beck.
1. As CAO, he will be responsible for administrative functions, services and business development for the Laguna Beach campus.
2. Mr. Beck has been with Mission Hospital since 1992 in various roles, including vice president of quality and vice president of operations in Laguna Beach.
3. He earned degrees from Abilene (Texas) Christian University and the University of Oklahoma, based in Norman.
4. He has also received accreditations including certified professional in healthcare quality status by the Healthcare Quality Certification Board.
