Methodist Health System Welcomes Dr. Sam Bagchi as CMIO

Sam Bagchi, MD, has joined Dallas-based Methodist Health System as chief medical informatics officer.

As CMIO, Dr. Bagchi oversees the clinical informatics team supporting the system’s hospitals in clinical automation projects, physician documentation and adoption of evidence-based order sets and alerts.

Dr. Bagchi earned his medical degree from the Indiana School of Medicine in Indianapolis.
