Ms. Carpenter was previously the CEO of Memorial Hospital Pembroke in Pembroke Pines, Fla. She has been with the hospital system for 11 years, according to the report.
Ms. Carpenter is also the board chair of the Pembroke Pines YMCA and a board member of the Broward County American Diabetes Association, according to the report.
