1. Dr. Jordan, who will assume her new role on Jan. 3, 2017, is currently the associate vice chancellor of diversity and inclusion at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and UMass Memorial Health Care in Worcester.
2. Prior to joining UMass Medical School, she served as assistant professor of psychology at Cleveland State University.
3. She earned her doctor of philosophy degree in organizational behavior from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.
4. In her new role, Dr. Jordan will lead strategic planning for institution-wide diversity and inclusion initiatives.
