Medical City Frisco names new CEO

Medical City Frisco (Texas) has named Patrick Rohan CEO, effective March 1.

Mr. Rohan has served as COO of both Medical City Plano (Texas) and Medical City Frisco for the last three years.

At Medical City Frisco, he oversaw the introduction of a spine surgery program and comprehensive women’s and maternity services, according to a news release. A $54 million medical office building and ambulatory surgery center project continues at the facility.

Mr. Rohan is the former COO and interim CEO of  Plantation (Fla.) General Hospital, owned by Nashville, Tenn-based HCA Healthcare. He also worked at  Miami-based Kendall Regional Medical Center, JFK Medical Center in Atlantis, Fla., and Columbia Hospital in West Palm Beach, Fla., now known as West Palm Hospital.
