Melanie Akers, DNP, RN, was named vice president of operations for Cabell Huntington (W. Va.) Hospital and Hoops Family Children’s Hospital in Huntington, according to a Jan. 9 LinkedIn post.
The two hospitals are part of Huntington, W. Va.-based Marshall Health Network.
Prior to her new role, Ms. Akers served as vice president of women’s and children’s services for MHN, the post said.
