Timothy Dentry, president and CEO of Brewer, Maine-based Northern Light Health, plans to retire this calendar year.
Mr. Dentry joined the organization as COO in 2016 and has served as president and CEO since 2020.
During his tenure, he is credited with investing in many of the health system’s campuses and increasing capacity to care for behavioral health patients throughout Maine, according to an April 8 health system news release.
Several talent development initiatives also culminated under his leadership, including the launch of a psychiatry residency program and expansion of nurse training programs, the release said.
Northern Light Health is a 10-hospital system with more than 10,000 employees.
