He will also serve as a faculty member at the Loyola University Chicago’s Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing.
Dr. Carrigan most recently was chief administrative officer for the cardiac service line at Chicago-based Rush University System for Health. He was also an assistant professor at Rush University College of Nursing in Chicago.
Dr. Carrigan previously worked at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System and Northwestern Memorial Hospital, all based in Chicago.
He is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and holds a PhD in nursing sciences from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is also a Nurses Credentialing Center-certified nurse executive.
