Ms. Starr became CEO of the organization in 2017. She has more than two decades of healthcare leadership experience.

The reason for her departure is unclear. The health system’s board of trustees “wish Mrs. Starr the best in her future endeavors,” a statement reads.

Bob Lonis, Lincoln Health System’s CFO, will take over as interim CEO while the board searches for a permanent replacement.
