Kate Brinn named president of Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center

Kate Brinn is the new president of Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center in Portsmouth, Va., and Harbour View Medical Campus in Suffolk, Va.

She was appointed March 1.

Ms. Brinn previously was vice president of service lines for Bon Secours Hampton Roads (Va.) health system, part of Cincinnati-based Bon Secours Mercy Health. Before that, she served as administrative director of operations and ambulatory services, as well as director of clinical business development, at Bon Secours Mary Immaculate Hospital in Newport News, Va.

She has a master’s degree in health administration from Richmond-based Virginia Commonwealth University.
