The hospital’s new interim CEO is Bill May. Mr. May is vice president for operations of Rural Hospital Group, which specializes in helping financially strapped hospitals. Rural Hospital Group in October bid $6.9 million to buy the hospital out of bankruptcy.

Mr. May told the Star-Journal he hopes to name a permanent CEO “in the next few weeks.”

The hospital also has a new CNO, Stan Conover, who has reportedly been affiliated with Hillsboro Community Hospital several years.
