Duke Regional Hospital appoints Adia K. Ross CMO

Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, N.C., has tapped Adia K. Ross, MD, to serve as CMO, the hospital announced.

Dr. Ross, a trained hospital medicine physician, will take over the position Jan. 1. In her new role, she will oversee quality and clinical program priorities for Duke Regional as well as manage medical staff partnerships.

Dr. Ross currently serves as medical director for Duke Raleigh Hospital Medicine and manages a team of more than 45 hospitalists. Previously, she was medical director of the Duke University Health System Transfer Center and assistant medical officer of quality for Duke University Hospital in Durham.
