Kona Community Hospital, Kohala Hospital name Anna Chiotti CEO

Anna Chiotti, MSN, BSN, was named CEO of Kona Community Hospital in Kealakekua, Hawaii, and Kohala Hospital in Kapaau, Hawaii, according to the Hawaii Tribune-Herald.

Both hospitals are part of the Hawaii Health Systems Corp. West Hawaii Region.

Ms. Chiotti, who will take over the CEO position Jan. 2, has more than 30 years of healthcare leadership experience, according to a hospital  news release cited by the newspaper.

She has served in leadership positions at organizations including San Ramon (Calif.) Regional Medical Center, San Francisco-based California Pacific Medical Center and Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente.

Ms. Chiotti will replace CEO Jay Kreuzer, who will retire at the end of 2019.
