Both hospitals are part of the Hawaii Health Systems Corp. West Hawaii Region.
Ms. Chiotti-White, who will take over the CEO position Jan. 2, has more than 30 years of healthcare leadership experience, according to a hospital news release cited by the newspaper.
She has served in leadership positions at organizations including San Ramon (Calif.) Regional Medical Center, San Francisco-based California Pacific Medical Center and Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente.
Ms. Chiotti-White will replace CEO Jay Kreuzer, who will retire at the end of 2019.
