Johnston-Willis Hospital in Richmond, Va., part of HCA Virginia, selected Suzanne Bertsch, BSN, to serve as its new chief nursing officer.

1. Ms. Bertsch most recently served as assistant CNO at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center & Heart Institute in Fort Pierce, Fla.

2. She was also assistant CNO at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Fla.

3. She has worked with Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare since 2002.

4. She holds a master’s degree in healthcare science from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
