John Starcher Jr. President and CEO of Mercy Health (Cincinnati). Mr. Starcher left his post as CEO of Mercy Health-Cincinnati to become president and CEO of Mercy Health in 2016. He previously served as CEO of North Naples, Fla.-based Health Management Associates, where he successfully guided the 71-hospital system’s sale to Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems. Mr. Starcher began his healthcare career as an administrator at the Toledo-based Medical College of Ohio, now known as the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences. He earned his doctorate in jurisprudence from the University of Toledo.
