Tina Eden, RN, was appointed CEO of Virginia Gay Hospital in Vinton, Iowa.
Ms. Eden brings a decadeslong career at the hospital to her new role, according to a hospital news release.
She had been serving as interim co-CEO since August 2024 while continuing her position as chief nursing officer.
“The board of directors is confident that Tina Eden’s vision, dedication and extensive experience will ensure the continued success of Virginia Gay Hospital,” Dave Vermedahl, VGH board chair, said in the release. “Her commitment to excellence in healthcare and her deep roots in our community make her the ideal leader to guide our hospital forward.”
VGH is a nonprofit rural hospital.
